The annual Helpmann Awards recognise distinguished artistic achievement and excellence in the many disciplines of Australia’s vibrant live performance sectors, including musical theatre, contemporary music, comedy, cabaret, regional touring, presentations for children, opera, classical music, theatre, dance and physical theatre.
Sketch Evolution was engaged by David Atkins Enterprises to deliver Technical Direction Services for The Helpmann Awards 2018 – ACT II, presented at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney on the stage of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
The show was broadcast by ABC Television and featured performances by Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, Sydney Dance Company, ARIA award-winning band Sheppard, My Friend The Chocolate Cake, Muriel’s Wedding The Musical and Funny Girl The Musical.
