Merryn has over 25 years experience as a producer of international world class public events. A leader in her field, Merryn has worked all over the world with some of Australia’s leading Artistic Directors and world class creative industry practitioners leading the teams on the design and implementation of International Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Cultural Festivals and World Expositions.

Her impressive public event experience as Executive Producer also includes: the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games,  the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2015 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea, the Opening Ceremony of the Rugby World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand 2011, the Closing Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics, 2010; the Closing Ceremony of the Doha Asian Games, 2006; the Opening Ceremony of the Rugby World Cup in Sydney, 2003; the Cultural Program of the Australian Pavilion at three World Expositions, Hannover Germany 2000, Nagoya Japan 2005, and Shanghai China 2010.

All the events above were broadcast live to millions of people worldwide. Merryn has a great deal of experience working not only in the production of live events but also working with the broadcast Directors on the live broadcast of spectacles. Merryn is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences which engage, move and mesmerize those involved as either a participant or an audience member.

An excellent strategic thinker and problem solver, she is focused, calm, creative and never daunted by any challenge large or small.
